Biography
Madeline C. Mulkey
A senior Public Relations major at the University of South Carolina, Madeline was thrilled to return to South Korea for the 2018 Winter Olympics. She received a Magellan Grant for Undergraduate Research for her senior thesis, "God at the Games," studying the impact of religion on the atmosphere of the Olympics.
While at the Games, Madeline was a freelance writer for the Religion News Service, writing an article on ministry efforts at the Olympics (see publications). While there, she also shot a mini-documentary entitled "God at the Games," which is being published in three parts.

A seasoned traveler, Madeline has traveled to 5 continents, including living in Sevilla, Spain. Her favorite country is Ecuador, because of the diverse biological environments, the food, and the people. She enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, canoeing, and backpacking.
Madeline is originally from Greenville, South Carolina, and currently resides in Columbia, S.C. She is a member of the Public Relations Student Society of America and is a Leadership Scholar. She spends her time serving as President of the Methodist Student Network, serving on the Carolina Judicial Council and working as a Resident Assistant at Park Place Apartments for University Housing.
A fun fact about Madeline is that she achieved the Gold Award in Girl Scouts.
